Jamie Carragher believes Adam Lallana is the Premier League’s best player on current form.

The Liverpool midfielder has four goals and one assist in his last five matches as Jurgen Klopp’s side sit six points behind Premier League leaders Chelsea.

The form of Eden Hazard and Diego Costa has been key to Chelsea’s run of 12 consecutive wins but Carragher believes Lallana is outstripping the two stars of Stamford Bridge.

‘On current form in the Premier League, the best player is Adam Lallana,’ the former Liverpool defender told Sky Sports.
